A teen was hospitalized after a shooting in Louisville's Okolona neighborhood Thursday.

A Louisville man was arrested and charged in a shooting last month in the Jacobs neighborhood.

Three homicides and three non-fatal shootings in Louisville causes community members to speak out against the violence in the city.

A Louisville homicide detective said the public must stand up to the criminals and help LMPD get them off the streets. 

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but have no suspects and have made no arrests.

A man is dead after a shooting in Louisville's Russell neighborhood.

The Louisville Metro Police Department reported responding to six shootings and one stabbing over the weekend, but overall crime is down compared to this time last year.

The shooting was reported about 8:15 a.m. Monday. 

There are no suspects at this time. 

Police believe the victim was shot near Cane Run Road and Shanks Lane.
