Due to the nature of the victim’s injuries, LMPD’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.

Louisville police are investigating three separate shootings that took place from Saturday night into Sunday morning.

A man was taken to the hospital after being shot in the Shawnee neighborhood late Sunday morning.

A woman was taken to the hospital after being shot in the Chickasaw neighborhood Saturday night, according to Louisville Metro Police.

Officers were called to the 4400 block of Newport Road around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday on a reported person down.

LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said the woman is expected to survive after being taken to the hospital.

Montra Huddleston, 35, had gotten into a verbal argument with the woman before the shooting happened.
