Mammoth Cave National Park took to Facebook over the weekend to poke fun at an unnamed study listing it among the "most disappointing U.S. tourist attractions."

Southern Living listed Mammoth Cave National Park as one of the top 10 most underrated destinations in the South. 

Music Director Teddy Abrams says this season will take the audience on one big adventure.

Mammoth Cave National park will offer ranger led talks, guided walks and special videos and visual displays that focus on the legacy of African American history there.

The tickets will be distributed through a lottery.

Mammoth Cave in Kentucky was confirmed to be six miles longer.

Work is expected to begin in November and last until next summer.

KSP said the two-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Mammoth Cave Road and Old Mammoth Cave Road, just outside Cave City in Barren County, at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Visitors can walk through more than 1 mile of passages in the the larger chambers.

The discovery of fossils changes the understanding of the cave's natural history.
