The American Red Cross is encouraging blood donations this month to avoid blood shortages that could impact patient care across the country.

Arson investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire. 

The Red Cross says the blood supply hasn't dipped this low in more than a decade.

Those who donate blood in the month of January will automatically be entered to win two tickets to Super Bowl 56 in Los Angeles.

It took dozens of firefighters about an hour to bring the fire under control.
