Louisville Parks and Recreation is partnering with Camp Quality to collect new, unwrapped toys for kids in need.
Kosair for Kids is a nonprofit that has been helping children with medical conditions for 100 years in Kentuckiana.
Kosair said Tuesday that a pipe on its air conditioner malfunctioned and flooded part of the basement, including the toy room, last week.
On Thursday, July 27, and Friday, July 28, Santa and Mrs. Claus will offer cookie baking, toy making, story time with Santa and more.
So far, the group has more than 800 children referred for the program, and are continuing to add more.
There will also be pictures with Santa.

It starts on Monday and runs through Dec. 2.
