The Wreaths Across America campaign places wreaths on veterans' graves at national cemeteries during the holidays every year.
The goal this year is to raise enough money for each of the 11,000 graves at Zachary Taylor Cemetery.
Each holiday season, the cemetery puts wreaths on graves of the 11,000 veterans buried there.
This holiday season several dozen volunteers took time to recognize fallen veterans.
Last year, the organization was able to place about 1,300 wreaths on veterans' graves, and the goal this year is 4,000.
The ceremony is part of Fire Prevention Week, which focuses on kitchen safety this year.
