LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Aaron Bradshaw, a five-star recruit and McDonald’s All-American who averaged 4.9 points per game as a freshman at Kentucky, is expected to enter the transfer portal, according to a report from Joe Tipton of On3Sports.

Bradshaw’s announcement comes amid widespread reporting that Kentucky coach John Calipari will leave the program to become the next head coach at Arkanssas.

After missing much of the preseason with an injury, the 7-1, 226-pound forward from Rahway, N.J., played in 26 games, starting 10. He averaged 3.3 rebounds per game. His season-high of 17 points came in his second game, against Penn on Dec. 9.

The next game, he started and scored 12 points against North Carolina, including the game-clinching free throws in an 87-83 win.

Bradshaw scored in double-digits seven times, and his highest-scoring SEC performance came in a 15-point effort at Arkansas.

He joins Adou Theiro as Kentucky players to enter the portal, but likely will be far from the last.
