Indiana will head to the Rose Bowl, at 4 p.m. New Year’s Day in Pasadena, Calif.

They will face the winner of No. 8 seed Oklahoma (10-2) and No. 9 Alabama (10-3), a game to be played in Norman, Okla., on Dec. 19 at 8 p.m.
Indiana (13-0) locked up its top seed with a 13-10 victory over then-top ranked Ohio State on Saturday night in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The Hoosiers will be making their second appearance in the Rose Bowl. The only other was in 1968, when IU faced USC and Trojans’ tailback O.J. Simpson ran for 128 yards to earn game MVP honors. Their outright Big Ten Championship was the program’s first since 1947.
The rest of the college football playoff honors, as selected by the committee, are as follows:
Ohio State is the No. 2 seed and heads to the New Year’s Eve Cotton Bowl, where it will play the winner of No. 10 Miami (10-2) at No. 7 Texas A&M (11-1).
No. 3 seed Georgia will play in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1 against either No. 6 Ole Miss (11-1) or Tulane, the No. 11 seed, at 11-2.
No. 4 seed Texas Tech (12-1) gets the Orange Bowl on New Year’s Day, where it will play the winner of No. 5 Oregon (11-1) and No. 12 James Madison (12-1), a team whose only loss is to Louisville.
