LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville City FC and FC Tulsa scored late goals for a 1-1 draw at Lynn Family Stadium.
Cameron Lancaster scored two minutes into added time. Lancaster scored on an assist from Kevon Lambert.
But Tulsa answered on a set piece headed in by Kalil ElMedkhar.
LouCity controlled 64.6% of possession, but created just four shots on goal.
“Ultimately, we didn’t finish our chances in the moments we should have,” LouCity coach Danny Cruz said. “We talked all week about how their goals come from set pieces — 11 out of the 21 goals they’ve scored have been set pieces. We knew that’s their strength and defended them well until the end of the game, and you end up dropping two points.”
LouCity is 11-15 this season.
