LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The home of the Slugger bat is paying tribute to "Charlie Hustle."
Tuesday, crews at the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory placed a wreath of red and white roses at Pete Rose's Louisville Slugger Walk of Fame bat.
His memorial is on the south side of Main Street between 4th and 5th Streets in downtown Louisville.
The wreath also has Rose's famous No. 14 on it.
Rose died Monday at the age of 83 in Clark County, Nevada.
He signed a contract with Louisville Slugger back in 1961. Officials said he ordered more than 2,000 bats during his career.
