LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The University of Louisville football team remained in the Top 10 of the College Football Playoff rankings released Tuesday night.
After defeating Miami to clinch a spot in the ACC Championship game on Saturday, the Cardinals (10-1) retained the 10th spot in the rankings. Louisville has two wins over ranked teams, No. 18 Notre Dame and No. 22 NC State.Â
Louisville is one of four ACC teams, Florida State (No. 5), NC State (No. 22) and Clemson (No. 24) that appear in the rankings.
Louisville hosts Kentucky at noon on Saturday in L&N Stadium to end the regular season. The Cardinals will play Florida State in the conference championship game in Charlotte on Dec. 2.
The top four teams in the CFP poll are selected for college football's postseason playoff. Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan and Washington are take the first four rankings, respectively.Â
