LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Senior defensive end Wesley Bailey brought more than just a viral sack celebration to Louisville this season when he transferred from Rutgers.
The Ontario native made an impact right away with the Cardinals, registering a career-high eight tackles in a comeback win over James Madison early in the season.
"Every time, every week we're looking for how we can excel as a defense," Bailey told Sidney Depp in the latest episode of Athlete Unscripted on Floyd Street Media. "And that day was me. I was able to play well. "
Bailey sat down with Depp for a conversation about how the first half of the season has gone for the No. 19 Cardinals and what it's been like stepping into a leadership role on the team. He also talked about the full-circle moment of reuniting at Louisville with a teammate he's known since childhood.
Watch a piece of the interview above and catch the full one-on-one conversation with Bailey on Wednesday morning on the Floyd Street Media YouTube page.
