LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville's Slugger Field will be open again this year for Thunder Over Louisville.
Thunder at Slugger is one of the city's most popular viewer options for all of Thunder's festivities. The Louisville Bats announced Tuesday that the event will look a little different than in years past as the team will not be playing at home that day.
There will still be a full lineup with several music artists slated to perform and beer specials.
Gates will open at 1 p.m. with a $2 beer happy hour until 3 p.m.
The music festivities will begin at 2 p.m. with The Juice Box Heroes, one of Louisville's top cover bands.
Nashville recording artist and Taylorsville native JD Shelburne will be on stage right after at 4 p.m., and The Crashers will close out the night starting at 6 p.m.
Fans will be allowed to exit and re-enter the ballpark as they please, and restrooms and concessions will be available throughout the day.
Tickets go on sale on Feb.1, starting at $30. Field Access Passes will also be available, while supplies last, for an additional charge.
Tickets can be purchased here or by calling the Bats front office at 502-212-2287.
