Educators say it's a desperately needed move, as there is a critical shortage of special education faculty.
The University of Louisville, University of Kentucky and Bellarmine University said Wednesday they will suspend classroom instruction -- moving classes to strictly online -- into early April in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
In a series of tweets Wednesday, the university said the decision was made after recommendations from health experts and government leaders.
