A mechanic at UPS’ Centennial ground operations hub off Outer Loop was killed in a workplace accident about 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the company confirmed.

UPS is suspending at operations Monday night at its global air hub in Louisville for inclement weather, a first since the hub was established around 2000.
