LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some of music's biggest names are going to be taking center stage in Louisville in September.

Bourbon and Beyond and Louder Than Life return to the Kentucky Expo Center, and fans will notice some changes this year.

The Bourbon and Beyond lineup includes Phish, Noah Kahan, Sturgill Simpson, the Lumineers and Jack White, and the Louder Than Life lineup includes Slayer, Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones and Bring Me the Horizon.

Danny Wimmer Presents and University of Louisville recently announced a partnership, bringing additional camping over to the stadium for Bourbon and Beyond.

Chamie McCurry, general manager of Danny Wimmer Presents, joined WDRB Mornings on Friday to talk about the changes with both festivals.

"We're adding more shade and seating options, and also expanding our VIP into a triple decker," McCurry said. "You'll be able to see all the stages in one place."

Bourbon and Beyond is happening at the Highland Festival Grounds Sept. 11-14, with Louder Than Life to follow Sept. 18-21.
