JEFFERSONVILLE, In. (WDRB) — Maker13, YouthLink, and the Kentucky Science Center are bringing cool tools and robots to schools all through southern Indiana in a big way.
WDRB's Keith Kaiser applies some Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics at Maker13.
The theme of the day is “STEM in SoIn”.
Maker13 is a community-based non-profit workshop that gives individuals and small businesses access to tools, training, and knowledge to create new ideas, start new businesses, create local art, and drive an interest in advanced manufacturing.
The Jeffersonville facility offers classes and training in the following areas: woodshop, metal shop, welding, laser etching/cutting, 3D printing, CNC machining, embroidery, sewing, electronics, and more.
