First ever Haunted Scavenger Hunt & Pub Crawl helps Indiana grade schoolers

NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB) -- You can explore New Albany's chilling history this time of year.

WDRB's Keith Kaiser joins a historian for a Wicked Walk.

It's the first ever Haunted Scavenger Hunt & Pub Crawl in Historic Downtown New Albany.

Beware… you’ve just stepped into a ghostly game of mystery and mischief. This eerie adventure is brought to you by Kiwanis of Historic New Albany and the New Albany Wicked Walk.

Tim Romig of New Albany Wicked Walk helped put together the spooky stroll.

The adventure will take you to many unnerving New Albany historical buildings where you'll have a chance to win various prizes.

The great thing about this event is that individuals can go anytime of the day or night. All the clues are on QR codes posted on the inside of a window for each establishment participating.

The $30 ticket gets you a night of entertainment and helps provide back-to-school kits for NAFC elementary students.

The event runs from now until Oct. 31.
