LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — You can get active in the New Year by barely touching the ground.
WDRB's Keith Kaiser learns about the different ways to keep moving at Suspend Louisville.
Suspend Louisville has been around for 10 years and is one of Louisville’s first movement studios, dedicated exclusively to aerial arts and cirque fitness.
They offer classes such as aerial yoga, aerial silks, aerial hoop, rope, static trapeze, and more.
Aerial yoga uses aerial slings, which are hammock-like silks suspended from the ceiling, to perform traditional yoga poses.
Anne Miller, studio owner and instructor, is passionate about sharing her love of aerial arts.
Classes are designed to improve strength, flexibility, focus, balance, and poise, and are offered for anyone, at any level of fitness.
The Cirque Sampler introduces students to basic moves on silks, trapeze, aerial hoop, or juggling.
