LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The latest in building and design trends will be on display at Homearama 2016.

The event features 25 homes in Norton Commons and five homes in River Crest.

The homes in Norton Commons are in the North Village, which will become one of the largest geothermal communities in the U.S. All 25 of the homes have state-of-the-art technology eliminating the need for outdoor air conditioning units.

This is the first year to feature homes in River Crest. The Mt. Washington development has nine homes on display in the Central Park section. All the lots face a tree lined park.

Homearama is an annual event produced by the Building Industry of Association of Greater Louisville.

This year's event is from July 16th through July 31st. Tours are weekdays from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Sundays 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Tickets are sold at the Homearama entrance tents at Norton Commons and River Crest. Tickets are $10 per person for a single day pass and $15 for a two-day pass. Children 12 and under are free with an adult.
