LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Local golf fans will soon be able to enjoy the PGA Tour's ISCO Championship close to home.

The ISCO Championship will make its debut at the Hurstbourne Country Club from July 7-13.

For the last six years, the tournament has been held at Champion Trace in Nicholasville, the only PGA Tour stop in Kentucky. Previously called the Barbasol Championship, ISCO took over the naming rights last year.

Officials said they saw how much Louisville loved golf during the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club, so they decided they needed to bring an annual tournament to the city.

Volunteer registration opened back in January, and there are still some opportunities available. Volunteers support the tournament in a variety of roles on and off the course, including player services, gallery management, TV support and hospitality.

Volunteers have to be at least 18 years old. Teens between 13-17 can also participate in select roles with parental consent.
