Louisville Mega Cavern has world's only Underground Bike Park

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- You can journey underground to stay cool and active this summer.

Keith Kaiser pedaled his way 10 stories below the surface to experience Louisville Mega Cavern's Underground Bike Park.

It is the only UNDERGROUND bike park in the world and the largest indoor bike park on the planet. The 320,000 square feet includes more than 30 trails and 13 miles of bikeable terrain. The temperature in the former limestone cavern hovers around 60 degrees all year round.

You'll find jump lines, pump tracks, dual slalom, BMX, cross country and single track trails 100 feet underground. Advanced registration is recommended but walk-ins are welcome.
