Macy's three key trends for Spring fashion:

Urban Voyage - Think safari and the city. Fashion takes a global turn in an unexpected blend of vivid neon tints and earth tones. Tribal prints, rainforest florals and ikat designs signal the return of the exotic. Feline spots and snakeskin prints are rescaled, recolored and treated in mixed-media. Distressed leather emerges as the preferred fabric and utility jackets take the look to the top.

Pink Optimism- Prim and proper. Bold and dramatic. Macy's is simply tickled by the season's most versatile hue - pink! Defined by a mix of graphic patterns, dyed ombré effects and luxurious jacquard fabrics, the look is La Vie en Rose revisited. With hints of black and gold to keep it edgy but elegant, the color palette spans from vibrant fuchsia to the palest rose and can be seen in everything from oversized patterns to delicate appliqués. From day to night, pink is seductive and individualistic when contrasted with black or used in tonalities.

The White Light - Start with a clean slate this season in white. Effortless and ethereal, the look is pure. Picture feminine ruffles, embroidery and delicate petal work. Asymmetrical draping comes into play as do sporty embellishments such as mesh, high tech fabrications, futuristic cutouts and sheer detailing. The infusion of black in graphic prints brings this story to a whole new level. See-through panels and laser-cut details play peekaboo on dresses, blouses, skirts, pants and hems! Chiffon and vinyl plus cotton and silk are layered and juxtaposed to create quirky patchworks.

"Heart Your Park"

Iroquois Park and The Parkland of Floyds Fork have been selected for "Heart Your Park." It's a program introduced as part of Macy's "Secret Garden" campaign that aims to raise awareness and dollars for local parks across the country. From March 7 to March 31, customers at Louisville area Macy's stores can donate $1 or more at the register, with 100 percent of the donations benefiting those parks.

More than 550 parks nationwide will benefit. Donations will go toward making improvements, such as maintaining trails, playgrounds, and ball fields, and everything in between. Macy's at Jefferson Mall is supporting Iroquois Park. Macy's Oxmoor is supporting The Parkland of Floyds Fork.
