LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Things are getting slimy at Mall St. Matthews.

WDRB's Keith Kaiser visits the brand new Slime Kitchen.

The mother-daughter team of Julie & Karly Grunduski, brought the concept / franchise to Louisville. With 14 locations across California, Nevada, Oregon, Iowa, and Florida, this marks the brand’s first Kentucky location.

Founder, Kathy Ando, came up with the idea for Slime Kitchen.

Slime Kitchen offers a hands-on, immersive experience where guests of all ages can craft custom slime creations.

Through a guided ten-step process, guests select their base, choose scents, add color, and mix in textures.

It becomes the perfect gift, a party activity, or a therapeutic hobby!
