LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The University of Louisville's annual Day of Giving is set to happen Tuesday.

"Raise Some L" starts at 6:02 p.m. on the dot and runs through midnight Wednesday, exactly 1,798 minutes and the year UofL was founded.

University officials are hoping to spread wealth across the campus.

Sarah Neff, senior director of events for UofL, visited WDRB Mornings on Monday and said alumni and community members can donate to specific colleges or organizations of their choice.

"This is about finding a place on campus that you're passionate about and want to give your funds to," Neff said. "We're just trying to get people excited about giving and understand that it's going to make a large impact."
