LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- WDRB Mornings is saying "see you later" to one of their own.
Amanda Roberts made the bittersweet announcement Friday morning that she is moving to Nashville.
While she said she is sad to be leaving, she's excited for what's to come in her career move, as well as being closer to her family.
She has been a huge part of the WDRB Mornings' team since 2022 specifically, getting up bright and early every morning and braving every type of weather to report live on Louisville's biggest news.
"WDRB really did heal a piece of my soul, and I attribute all of that to the whole team," Roberts said on WDRB Mornings on Friday.
Amanda shared the desk with Candyce and Lindsay as she made her announcement on Friday. The three of them talked about how special the WDRB Mornings team is.
"I can't thank the viewers enough for letting me into their home and being able to share the desk with everyone," Roberts said. "It's been phenomenal."
