It's been a gloomy and wet start to this week, and that isn't going to change just yet. We've got another system about to roll by our area Wednesday that will bring in another solid rain chance.Â
Shower chances start to climb overnight tonight. Most of the rain will be light, but you should notice more consistent light rainfall the further we go into the overnight hours.Â
By morning, most of the rain is still fairly light near Louisville. Further to the south, heavier rain will start to roll its way back in.Â
Rain continues to be very likely, especially for our Kentucky counties, by the afternoon and it should remain pretty consistent through the evening. There will be some more moderate and heavy pockets of rain by late afternoon, again, especially for our Kentucky counties.Â
It's going to be breezy Wednesday while the rain is falling as well. Wind gusts 20-30 mph are possible at times while it is raining, which will make temperatures that are already upper 40s and low 50s feel even cooler.
1-2" of rain, with some locally higher amounts are possible, with the higher amounts being the further south you go in our viewing area.Â
