Almost 9,000 wreaths were placed on the graves of servicemembers by volunteers at Zachary Taylor Cemetery at 4701 Brownsboro Road.
The goal this year is to raise enough money for each of the 11,000 graves at Zachary Taylor Cemetery.
With just over a week away, there are almost 6,000 wreaths that have not been sponsored.
