When Gov. Andy Beshear gives his final COVID-19 update Friday, it will also be the final time in the spotlight for the woman who has been his silent partner during the pandemic.
Beshear said the bonus program is a compromise meant to get Kentuckians off the sidelines while also resisting calls from employers and Republicans to end the federal $300 weekly supplement to jobless claims.
Moore's skills helped communicate life-saving information to more than 700,000 deaf and hard of hearing people in Kentucky during the pandemic.
