The bridge that connects Floyd and Clark counties in southern Indiana was closed due to the dam underneath the bridge failed earlier this month.
The commissioners voted to remove the dam last month after it failed in February, forcing the closure of the heavily-traveled Blackiston Mill Road Bridge.
