LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Bardstown Road and the Highlands celebrated its diversity Saturday during a popular annual event.
The 10th annual Louisville Pride took over the Highlands as several booths and more than 100 vendors were set up on Bardstown Road. There was also live music and drag performances.
Groups like Voices of Kentuckiana and Mary Mary also performed.
This year's theme was Decades: Resistance and Hope Through the Years, which featured speakers and an awards ceremony.Â
"We should always be ourselves authentically all year round, 12 months a year, not just one month," Jorge Rangel, Pride attendee, said.
The event brought people from around the Midwest.
