LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The weekend is upon us, and there are plenty of things to do and see across Kentuckiana.
Here are a selection of events, markets, concerts and more happening Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11, 2025.
International Food Truck Festival
The International Food Truck Festival returns to the Big Four Lawn at Waterfront Park for a fourth year this weekend.
The free event starts Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the park on East River Road in Louisville.
Organizers said it serves as a place where you can eat around the world in one place. There will also be cultural performances during the festival.

Backyard Craft Show
The sixth annual craft is set for this weekend. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, artists and craft vendors will be set up for shopping.
When all art shows were being canceled several years ago during the pandemic, small business owner Ryan Durbin of RD Ceramics decided to host a small art show of his own in July of 2020.
He rounded up five other small business friends and safely spaced-out booths in his parent’s backyard. The event was a success, and a great way for artists to sell at a small, casual venue. Durbin decided to host it again the year after, with nine local small businesses featured, and the turnout grew.
This year, the Backyard Craft Show will have 10 vendors, and live music by Tunes By Trent.
Shoppers will find a varied selection of original art and home crafted goods to fit every taste including functional pottery, leather goods, upcycled vintage textiles, mixed media wall art, jewelry, and more.
The rain or shine event will be held at 3503 Colonial Springs Road in Louisville. Parking and admission are free.

Mother's Day at the Louisville Zoo
Celebrate Mother's Day this Sunday with free admission for mom at the Louisville Zoo.Â
Moms and moms-to-be just need to let the zoo attendant know at the entry gate that they're eligible for the free admission.
The rest of the family needs to purchase tickets, and are encouraged to do so online in advance to avoid lines at the ticket window. You can also purchase your parking pass ahead of time.

La Grange RailFest 175
La Grange will celebrate 175 years since the first train traveled through its historic Main Street, a tradition the town said continues to make them one of the most unique destinations in the nation.
The three-day festival started Friday with a night of live Bluegrass music featuring the Misty Mountain String Band.Â
The festivities continue Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a full day of activities. Streets will be lined with vendors, food, live entertainment and more. There will also be a Kids' Train Parade on Main Street, a train show, crafts, food trucks and more.
A family fun zone will be set up at the La Grange Railroad Museum, complete with a bouncy house, balloon animals, a DJ, model trains, games and more.Â
There will also be a farmers market set up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a performance by Terry Lee Goffee's Johnny Cash Tribute Band from 6-8 p.m. that evening.Â

Explore 30 vendors selling handmade items, fresh flowers, vintage items, vinyl, food and more from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kids can take free rides on the Kroger Fresh Express Trackless Train.
The Cafe, The Village Market and Stoneware & Co. will also be open for visitors, brunch and lunch.Â
The market is family-friendly and pet-friendly, though dogs must be on a leash.Â
Christy's Garden is located at 720 Brent Street, in the Paristown Point neighborhood just outside downtown Louisville. It's also not far from the Fleur De Flea Vintage Market, which opens at noon Sunday. The market offers 35,000-square-feet of shopping space full of vintage items being sold by local collectors.
