LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — You can celebrate America this week while also helping to fill a critical community need.
The American Red Cross will host the Stars, Stripes and Pints blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, and Wednesday, July 1.
The drive will be held at the Jeffersonian on Taylorsville Road in Jeffersontown. Organizers said everyone who donates will be entered to win two tickets to the Rock the Country music festival in Ashland, Kentucky.
Donors will also get a free ticket to a Six Flags theme park of their choice, a Looney Tunes T-shirt and a free chicken dinner, while supplies last.
Organizers said donors of all blood types are needed, especially those with type O blood.
