LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's beginning to look like Christmas -- well, almost -- but it's never too early to plan ahead for an event that's sure to sell out fast.
The Louisville Bats is once again hosting Breakfast With Santa at Slugger Field in December. The annual event, sponsored by Outback Steakhouse, is scheduled for Dec. 6 at the stadium, according to a news release.
Families can choose from two 60-minute time slots: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., or 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Tickets are on sale now. The price is $30 for adults ages 18 and older and $28 for children. Infants up to two years old, in a stroller, are admitted free with a ticketed adult.
All tickets must be purchased in advance, and will not available on the day of the event. They're expected to sell out quickly, and each session will be capped at 90 tickets to make sure kids get a quality personal visit with Santa Claus.
This year's Breakfast with Santa will take place in the home and visiting clubhouses at Louisville Slugger Field -- one of the most exclusive areas of the ballpark that is not usually open to the public.
Children in attendance will be provided the opportunity to have their photo taken with Santa Claus. Afterwards, families can download a digital copy of their photo. Kids can also take part in cookie decorating and ornament crafting. Buddy Bat will be on hand for photos.
Breakfast from Outback Steakhouse will have scrambled eggs, bacon, silver dollar pancakes with maple syrup, orange juice, milk, coffee, hot chocolate and water.
Parking is free for all attendees in the main Louisville Slugger Field lot at the intersection of Main Street and Jackson Street.
