Fewer than 1,000 tickets remain for St. Jude Dream Home giveaway

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Tickets are going fast for this year's St. Jude Dream Home giveaway, with fewer than 1,000 remaining as of Sept. 6.

A total of 7,500 tickets sold out in record time last year, and, this year, 8,000 tickets were made available for $100 each. Purchasing a $100 raffle ticket gives you the chance to win the beautiful four-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath home at 2124 Quail Ridge Drive in La Grange.

The 2,900-square-foot home, built by Fischer Homes, is valued at approximately $485,000.

All the money raised goes to help families of sick children, who never get a bill for their medical care at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The hospital also covers the cost for travel, housing and food.

Special Bonus Prize Deadline

Anyone who purchases a ticket before the end of the day on Sept. 6, 2024, will also be entered in a drawing for a $2,500 shopping spree at Artique Rugs & Furniture.

Fischer Homes has partnered with St. Jude for 19 years to bring together contractors, building professionals and volunteers to construct the home. This is the fifth year that WDRB has partnered with St. Jude for the giveaway that has raised $3.4 million so far.

You can tour the St. Jude Dream Home in La Grange for free every weekend through Sept. 22. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays are noon to 5 p.m.

The winner of the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway will be chosen live on the air on WDRB Mornings on Oct. 3.
