LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville’s annual Family S.T.E.A.M. Day is back, bringing hands-on art and science activities to the South Central Regional Library.

The free, family-friendly event is on Nov. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offers creative ways for kids to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

This year’s "COLLIDER Artists’ Edition" will feature animation, printmaking, storytelling, and other projects led by alumni from the library’s Artist-in-Residence program.

"We’re calling all creative thinkers and are excited to have this event back at our South Central Regional Library," Mayor Craig Greenberg said in a news release.

Visitors can check out demonstrations from community partners, including the American Printing House, Louisville Astronomical Society, Central Creativity, STEMY, and the Kentucky Science Center
