LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Newborns at several local Baptist Health hospitals are showing their holiday spirit with festive Christmas-themed outfits.

Baptist Health La Grange said in a news release that it will continue the hospital’s holiday tradition of gifting handmade red and green Christmas hats to babies born on Christmas Day.

Meanwhile, newborns at Baptist Health Louisville and Baptist Health Hardin are celebrating their first Christmas with their very own stockings, paid for with funds raised by the hospital’s Auxiliary through gift shop sales and other activities.

The annual "stocking stuffing" is a 32-year tradition at Baptist Health Louisville.

Baptist Health Hardin babies are also ready for the holidays, with Christmas-themed attire, including Santa-, elf-, and snowman-inspired looks. It is a tradition for babies in the hospital’s nursery and NICU to get dressed up for holiday photos.
