LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Wildcats are getting ready to take on the Florida Gators on the court, but fans have their own opportunity to take part in some friendly competition off the court for a good cause.
The annual Big Blue Slam tips off Jan. 22-26 at Kentucky Blood Center locations across the state.
All donors will receive a limited edition Big Blue Slam T-shirt and will be entered to win two lower-level tickets to the UK-Florida men's basketball game at Rupp Arena on Jan. 31.
January is also National Blood Donor Month. There are several Big Blue Slam mobile drives scheduled for the competition:
Monday, Jan. 22:
