LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some Louisville area fire departments and a local restoration company are teaming up for Hurricane Helene relief.
Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS is partnering with Paul Davis Restoration of Louisville for a relief collection effort for victims of Helene.
The department is collecting essential toiletries to help those impacted, including paper towels, toilet paper, disinfectant wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes and disposable paper plates, bowls and cups.Â
Jordan Yuodis, a spokesperson for Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS, said each of the agency's stations will collect donations through Thursday, Oct. 10.Â
"The community's support will be vital in providing relief to those affected by Hurricane Helene, and we encourage everyone to join us in making a difference," Yuodis said.
Donations will then be picked up by The Garage Crawlers Auto Group on Friday, Oct. 11, to be taken to those in need.
Other participating fire departments include Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, PRP, Fern Creek, Fairdale, Okolona and Zoneton.
