LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Louisville Chapter of The Links, Inc. held a special event this weekend focused on chronic disease and societal issues.
The group held a Black Family Wellness Expo Saturday at Goodwill's West Louisville Opportunity Center.
The goal is to shed light on economic disparities and improve the health and lives of those living in the community.
There were vendors to talk about issues like pediatric care, maternal health, kidney disease, financial literacy and much more.
Several resources were also available.
