LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville organization is making sure every student feels confident at prom by offering free dresses.
The Giving Loving Heartfelt Prom Dress Giveaway is being held this weekend at the Vision of Hope Church on Ralph Avenue in Shively.
The giveaway starts Friday, from 3-7 p.m., and continues Saturday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Organizers are still looking for donations, especially of plus-size dresses. Dresses, shoes, and jewelry can be donated at Kosair Shrine on Bardstown Road or Exodus Ministries on Bethany Lane.
This weekend marks the second year for the giveaway. Last year, it helped nearly 600 teens get ready for their proms.
