LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Thursday is Repeal Day, marking 91 years since prohibition ended, and of course some businesses on Whiskey Row had to commemorate it.
One of those businesses, Buzzard's Roost Bourbon, celebrated the day by rolling barrels down Main Street in downtown Louisville.
The team looked the part as well, dressed in Prohibition-era outfits, including fringe, flapper dresses, bow ties and bowler hats and a full jazz band in tow.
Guests at Buzzard's Roost got a taste of the new 8-Year Single Barrel Bourbon and could get their bottles signed.
