USPS officials say the deadline for priority mail packages to be dropped off for Christmas arrival is Wednesday, Dec. 20, and priority express packages must be dropped off by Dec. 21.
USPS is prepared for the holiday season and has the capacity to process up to 60 billion packages during peak times.Â
Weeks after nearly a foot a snow and a layer of ice coated much of the Louisville area, a backlog of mail is still stuck at the main post office in Louisville, leaving customers frustrated with things not being delivered.
