Upon further investigation, LMPD Detectives found the shooting actually occurred in the 2200 block of Griffiths Avenue.Â
Officers immediately rendered aid until EMS arrived and transported the man to University Hospital where he died a short time later.
It happened around 5:15 a.m. in an alley in the 2700 block of S. 4th Street, near Winkler Avenue.Â
