Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron announces a $460 million settlement between the commonwealth and pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson, as well as other opioid distributors, for what he says is their role in fueling the state's opioid epidemic. News conference took place on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

The settlement is just part of a $26 billion settlement nationwide over the U.S. opioid epidemic.
The group claims Cameron did not conduct a fair and impartial investigation into Taylor's death.
The commonwealth will receive more than $197 million combined from both pharmacy chains.
