LMPD with K9 at shooting in Russell neighborhood

LMPD homicide detectives bring a K9 unit to the scene to investigate after a double shooting that left one person dead and another person injured at 26th and Cedar in the Russell neighborhood of Louisville, Ky., on March 21, 2021.

It's the second homicide reported in the Russell neighborhood on Sunday.
According to LMPD spokesperson Alicia Smiley, it happened just before 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of 26th and Cedar streets, near Green Alley.
