LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman was killed and two others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Dixie Highway in Elizabethtown Wednesday evening.
Chris Denham, a spokesman for the Elizabethtown Police Department, said officers responded on a crash at the intersection of Ring Road and Dixie Highway just before 7:30 p.m.
Police said a car headed east on Ring Road rear-ended a truck that was also headed east on Ring Road, but stopped at the intersection of Dixie Highway.
The woman who was driving the car died on the scene. The man driving the truck and his juvenile passenger were taken to Baptist Health Hardin with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash is under investigation. The woman's identity has not yet been released.
