1 dead after house fire in Carroll County, Kentucky

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Kentucky State Police troopers in Campbellsville are investigating after a person was killed in a house fire in Carroll County.

According to KSP, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office contacted troopers about a fire at 131 Amanda Lane on Sunday around 4:19 p.m. where it was reported a person was still inside the home.

Troopers and fire departments from Carroll and Henry counties responded to the fire. After the fire was put out, unidentified human remains were found inside the residence.

Police do not suspect foul play, and this is an ongoing investigation.
