LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Saturday was a fun day of music and food for those who stopped by the Forest Fest at Jefferson Memorial Forest.
Much of the afternoon focused around bluegrass music. There were booths and vendors, not to mention plenty of food and drinks, and even crafts for kids.
This is the 17th year for the annual festival and the stars of the day were the musicians.
"All the bands are bluegrass so we've got some local, national, right now the Montvales are on stage, the Beibelhauser Brothers will be up later, songs from the road will be on later today," Jessica Kane, the park and recreation administrator, said.
There was also a climbing wall and music workshops.
