LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The special holiday postmark is now available at the Santa Claus Post Office in Santa Claus, Indiana.
This special postmark has been around since 1983. It will be available through Christmas Eve for no charge.
The special Santa Claus holiday postmark design is selected each year from a competition among local high school students. This year's winner was Allison Hoffman, who is now a freshman at Indiana State University.
Santa Claus sees around 400,000 pieces of mail in December due to its special name.
